On October 6th and 7th 2018, Hellenic American College successfully hosted the Annual Conference of the European Branch of the American Counseling Association (EB-ACA).

About 120 academics, scholars and practitioners, largely from the United States but also from Greece, attended the conference. More than 50 presentations and workshops took place and 22 posters were presented on the 3rd floor of the campus. On October 6th 2018, the Conference dinner was held where Dr. Eva Fragkiadaki, Assistant Professor and Director of the Psychology Division at Hellenic American University had the keynote speech of the conference.

Students and alumni/ae of Hellenic American College, the majority from the Psychology programs, served as volunteers during the conference. As Dr. Fragkiadaki noted, “Without these volunteers, the conference would not have been nearly as successful. We are very proud of them, as we are of all our students and our program.”
