Use the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) to search for materials in the Library’s print collection. Use the links to online resources to access electronic collections of information such as articles and images. The Library has subscriptions to a number of databases that you may use on campus or access from home.
You may check out a maximum of four items at a time for a period of 20 days, except for reserve and special collection’s items. You may renew materials for another 20 days.
You can renew your borrowing period either in person, by phone, or through email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
The fine for delays is €0.50 euro per day for the first 10 days, and then €10 per day for each day thereafter. You are responsible for the safe and prompt return of all resources to the Library (The Library is not responsible for reminding users of delays). The date on which the book must be returned by is written on a note in the back of the book.

Databases (accessed from the online resources link on the library home page) are electronic collections of information (such as articles and images) organized for quick and easy retrieval. The Library has subscriptions to a number of databases that you may use on campus or access from home. You may access these databases from any computer with an Internet connection. If you are on campus, you can access all resources through the Library’s Collections page. If you are want to access the online resources while off- campus you have to visit http://lib.hau.gr . When accessing databases off-campus, you will be prompted to type in your online resources’ username and password.
Students, faculty and staff of the Hellenic American College are authorized to access the subscription based databases of the Library.

Yes. A librarian may assist you with your personal research needs, through email. Additionally, a live "Ask a librarian" service will soon be implemented for your further assistance.
The library provides black and white printing free of charge. Black and white photocopying services, with respect to copyright law, are available with minimal charge.
Remote access is granted only to university students and faculty with the use of their Labs account. Your Lab account has been given to you upon registration, along with your mail and BlackBoard credentials. In order to browse the electronic collections, please, visit http://lib.hau.gr. You will be prompted to enter your username and password. In the username field you should enter “labs\username” (without “”) In the password field, enter your password. Remember that your password is case sensitive.
