On Wednesday, March 22, we will be hosting for a second time Dr. Edward Tick, an internationally renowned author and therapist who will deliver a lecture on “Soul Medicine and Trauma Healing: Healing trauma and other wounds to psyche and soma”, at Hellenic American College.
The lecture is organized by the Psychology Department and the Counseling Center of Hellenic American College/University.
Dr. Tick will talk about soul medicine, the myth of Asklepios, dream pilgrimages and incubation, replication of ancient sanctuary practices, and will provide personal guidance for the use of dreams for trauma and holistic healing and transformation.
About the speaker:
Edward Tick, PhD, is an internationally renowned author and therapist. He has authored five books on the subject of treating trauma and three on poetry including the award-winning War and the Soul, and The Practice of Dream Healing: Bringing Ancient Greek Mysteries into Modern Medicine. He is now completing his 9th book on sanctuary healing on the island of Poros.
