Certification Programs

Hellenic American University offers certificates as micro-credentials as continuous professional development for working professionals and adult learners in general. Each certificate is a bundle of credit-bearing courses offered in a specific sequence. At least four courses (12 credits) must be taken to earn a certificate. There is also an option to do a longer, six-course (18 credits) professional certificate/specialization.

Certificate benefits

These certificates enable participants to gain additional skills to enhance employability or further their career, while requiring a significantly shorter time commitment than earning a degree does. In addition, the credits earned can be transferred or waived towards earning a degree at Hellenic American University or other colleges and universities.

Earning the certificate

Certificates are offered within specific degree programs, such as the MBA certificates, but also across departments, as is the case with the Project Management certificate.

For Hellenic American University degree-seeking students, the certificate can be earned by completing a set of courses as part of their degree program. Students interested in pursuing a certificate must inform their Program Director of their intent.

Individuals who are not Hellenic American University students who wish to earn a certificate need to apply to the University through the Admissions Office (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)
