Mr. Petras Charalampos, Coaching Psychologist MAC, MISCP, will deliver a free lecture on "Coaching Psychology: What is behind Goal Setting?" The event is being organized by the Psychology Department of Hellenic American College, in cooperation with Hellenic American University (Manchester, New Hampshire, USA) and will take place on December 8th at 17:00, at 22 Massalias Street, 4th floor Conference Room.
The lecture will deal with the fundamental principles of "Positive Psychology Coaching" associated with the process of goal-setting. The criteria of a coaching goal and the steps which lead to goal achievement will be presented. Additionally, the concepts of self-awareness and positive psychological capital that is crucial to the outcome of this process will be discussed.
The lecture will be delivered in English. Participation is free of charge.

Mr. Petras is a registered coaching psychologist & trainer, anthropologist and family psychotherapist. He has studied Anthropology, History and Family Therapy in Greece, Psychology in Cyprus and Life Coaching in Great Britain. He is the founder and Scientific Director of Athens Coaching Institute and the Interdisciplinary Centre of Psychotherapy "Στήριξη". He has created three training courses on Coaching Skills & Coaching Psychology, which have been recognized by the Association for Coaching. He is a member of the American Anthropological Association, the International Society of Coaching Psychology, the Association for Coaching and the Association of Greek Sociologists.
