The Hellenic American College Counseling Center, in cooperation with Hellenic American University, invites you to a free lecture on May 16th by Dr. Despina Konstas on “Ways to Cope with Test Anxiety”.
Dr. Konstas is a faculty member in the Hellenic American University Psychology programs. Her talk, one in a series of awareness events organized by the Hellenic American College Counseling Center, will take place on May 16, at 12:00-13:00, on the 4th floor of the Massalias 22 building. A discussion with the audience will follow.
Test anxiety refers to the tension or uneasiness one feels before or during an exam. These feelings are quite common and more importantly, there are ways to cope. During her presentation Dr. Konstas will explore how and why test anxiety arises and how one experiences it, as well as why exams seem especially stressful. She’ll present ways of coping with stress and strategies for taking exams.
