The President & Managing Director of Novartis Hellas SACI, Riccardo Canevari will discuss the challenges and rewards of working as a manager in a pharmaceutical company.
Hellenic American College, in cooperation with the Research Institute of Hellenic American University (Manchester, NH, USA), invites you to attend an Executive Lecture by Riccardo Canevari as part of the Hellenic American University Executive Lecture series. Entitled “Working as a Manager in a Pharmaceutical Company: A Fascinating Experience,” the lecture will take place on May 14th, from 19.00 to 22.00, on the 8th floor of our building at 22 Massalias Street.
The pharmaceutical industry has contributed greatly to extending and enhancing human life through the discovery, development and commercialization of medicines. The ultimate target in a pharmaceutical company is to save lives and provide a better quality of life. This in itself makes working for a pharmaceutical industry different from working in most other industries.
In his talk, Mr. Canevari will discuss the challenges and rewards of working as a manager in a pharmaceutical company drawing on his 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and health-care sectors, and particularly his work for Novartis, a leading global pharmaceutical company.
The Executive Lectures Series supports the leadership development of Hellenic American University students and the larger business community and provides attendees with an insider's perspective on the world of business, delivered straight from the industry experts and leaders. Through these lectures, invited executives bring the curriculum to life for students enrolled in the University’s business courses.
