Ms. Niki Vasileiou, MSc, will talk about her work as a psychologist in the Hellenic Police and the Hellenic Police Academy.

The Department of Psychology and the Counseling Center of Hellenic American College, in cooperation with Hellenic American University (Manchester, NH, USA) cordially invite you to a free lecture entitled: “The Role of Psychologists in the Hellenic Police and the Hellenic Police Academy” by Ms. Niki Vasileiou, MSc. The lecture will be held on Friday, March 28th, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. in the 4th Floor Conference Room at 22 Massalias Street, Athens.

In this lecture, Ms. Niki Vasileiou will talk about the content and challenges of her work in both areas. She’ll discuss her role in supporting police offers, staff and academy students, common issues that arise such as power and hierarchy, and assessment tools she uses in her work, including those for cases of abused children.

The lecture will be delivered in English.
