On December 8, soloists and seniors of the Athenian Conservatory will interpret works by Manolis Kalomoiris and Yiannis Konstantinidis, followed by a presentation of works by contemporary composers Orestis Bazos, Nikos Panagiotakis and Eleni Skarkou.
The concert is part of an effort by the Greek Composers’ Union to promote the musical potential of the conservatories as well as the work of Greek composers. It marks the beginning of an extensive collaboration with Greek conservatories. This first concert has been organized in cooperation with the Athenian Conservatory and Ms. Evi Marinaki, Art Director.
The concert, organized by Hellenic American College's Bachelor of Music (BM) program in cooperation with Hellenic American University (Manchester, NH, USA) and the Greek Composers’ Union, will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at 20:30, in the Hellenic American Union Auditorium (22 Massalias Street, Athens).
Admission is free.
