Well-known spirituals, Christmas carols and orchestral works will be performed by ensembles of the Philippos Nakas Conservatory on Thursday, December 22.
The concert will open with spirituals performed by the Conservatory's Pop-Gospel Choir under the direction of voice professor Marina Satti and Manos Saridakis (piano). Carols and excerpts of works by Händel, Telemann, Pachelbel, and Massenet will follow, performed by the Conservatory's string orchestra under the direction of Nadezda Sarantidou.
Violin soloists: Marina Jiannopoulou, Aimilia Jiannopoulou and Dimitra Karageorgopoulou. Classical Chorus and orchestra conducted by Michalis Papapetrou.
Hellenic American College and Philippos Nakas Conservatory have joined in a strategic partnership to give students the opportunity to pursue an undergraduate degree in Music along with their conservatory studies.
