Poster of Conference on "Counselling in a Changing Europe: Upheavals, Challenges, Redefinitions, and Possibilities" at the Hellenic American CollegeHellenic American College, in cooperation with with Hellenic American University (Manchester, NH, USA) will be hosting a conference on "Counselling in a Changing Europe: Upheavals, Challenges, Redefinitions, and Possibilities" on November 22nd and 23rd, 2014. The conference is being organized by the Hellenic Association for Counselling in conjunction with the European Association for Counselling.

The conference will explore the present and possible future of Counselling in a rapidly changing United Europe. It will look at the framework in which counselling is practiced in various European countries, and the academic, professional, legal and ethical changes regarding this practice.

The Conference should be of interest to professional practitioners and students who will be practicing counselling in the near future, as well as individuals working in inter-cultural environments.

Conference Dates and Venue

The Conference will be held on Saturday, November 22nd (9:00 – 18:30) and Sunday, November 23rd (9:45 – 17:30), in the Auditorium of Hellenic American Union, 22 Massalias Street, Athens.

How to apply

For Hellenic American College/University Faculty and Students, the registration fee is a special price of 25 euros. Those who are interested in participating are kindly requested to:

  2. Complete both application forms below as soon as possible since space is limited

  3. Send them to the email address indicated on the applications
  4. Deposit the registration fee to the bank account indicated on the application form while making sure to state their full name

For non-Hellenic American College/University individuals, registration is processed through the Greek Counselling Association.

The language of the conference will be mostly in Greek with a few workshops in English.
