The controversy surrounding the gender identity bill that was recently passed by the Greek Parliament has highlighted the need for broader public discussion on issues of human sexuality and gender. With the aim of promoting such dialogue and fostering a greater appreciation of diversity and social inclusion, this day-long colloquium, organized by the Psychology program of Hellenic American College, brings together clinical and social psychologists, as well as experts in law and ethics, to explore issues of gender identity, sexual orientation, self-determination, and mental health services for transgender persons.
The event is being organized in cooperation with Hellenic American University (NH, USA) and will be held on Thursday November 9th, from 15:00 to 21:00, at the Auditorium, 22 Massalias Street, Kolonaki.
The event will be delivered in Greek. Participation is free of charge.
Seats are limited. Please use the online booking platform below to reserve your seat(s).
