A workshop about homelessness in Greece will be held on October 17th, the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty.

The Psychology Department of Hellenic American College, in cooperation with Hellenic American University (Manchester, New Hampshire, USA) and the Greek Network for Housing and Residence Rights invite you to attend a free workshop entitled "Homelessness in Athens: Empowering-Supporting-Participating". The workshop will take place in the Auditorium of Hellenic American Union, 22 Massalias Street, from 16:00 to 20:30.

Academic, intervention and prevention institutions as well people who benefit from their services will participate in this workshop. Additionally, during the event, institutions which are directly and indirectly involved will describe their experiences and voice their thoughts and concerns regarding homelessness.

Participants will have the opportunity to express and share their thoughts and experiences which will form the core of more conscious and effective future actions. Furthermore, the distribution of promotional material from NGOs will allow everyone interested to actively engage in future actions and personally meet representatives of the aforementioned institutions.
