The Psychology Department of Hellenic American College in cooperation with Hellenic American University invites you to attend a free lecture entitled “How to Think About Money in the New Year & Beyond” as part of the Counseling Center Awareness Events. The lecture will be presented by Barbara Kondilis & Dimitrios Colettis on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the 4th Floor Conference Room in the Massalias 22 building of Hellenic American College.
The talk will center on discussion and experiential activities with the following goals:
- Increasing self-awareness about your relationship with money
- Understanding why people have financial problems
- Discovering how you/we perceive, cope with, and behave around money
- Reframing your distortions and fears about money and financial change
- Conducting a basic personal finance/investment profile
- Achieving life goals through personal financial management by better managing your money today for success tomorrow
The overall is to help participants increase self-awareness around their personal relationship with money, better manage one’s money, and NOT on how to make money.
Ms. Barbara Kondilis is a faculty member at Hellenic American University, and Mr. Colettis is adjunct faculty at Hellenic American University. Mr. Colettis is also the founder of the Hellenic Financial Planning Association in Greece.
