
15 years after the attack on New York's Twin Towers, the Hellenic American College (HAEC) and the Hellenic American Union in collaboration with the monthly literary review Books' Journal and the website Planodion-Bonsai Stories present the anniversary edition "Bonsai stories about Ground Zero".
"Bonsai stories about Ground Zero" is a collection of translated short stories published for the first time in Greece, and also stories by established or new Greek authors. All stories are inspired by or relate to the events of September 11th, 2001.
Speaking at the event will be: Elias Kanellis (publisher - Books' Journal), Vassilis Manoussakis (author, translator & Adjunct Professor, Hellenic American University), Iro Nikopoulou (author, artist, co-director of the website Planodion-Bonsai Stories), Nicolas Sevastakis (author & professor at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), Elena Stagkouraki (translator).
The authors Yannis Efstathiadis, Dimitris Kalokyris, Michalis Modinos, Klety Sotiriadou and Yiorgos Chouliaras will be reading their short stories.
The event shall take place on September 12, 2016 at 20:00, in the Auditorium of the Hellenic American Union, 22 Massalias Street, Kolonaki.
The event will be held in Greek. Admission is free of charge.
