A visual arts exhibition entitled those little anodynes with works by Eleni Theofilaktou and Eva Marathaki will be held on the 185th anniversary of the birth of renowned American poet Emily Dickinson. The exhibition is curated by Gelly Grindaki.
The works by the two artists, Eleni Theofilaktou and Eva Marathaki, reflect on the diverse formation of female identity today. Their affinities find fertile grounds for developing a dialogue with the American poet at its epicenter, both as creator and as a fictionalized persona.
The exhibition is hosted by the Hellenic American Union and Hellenic American College (HAEC) in cooperation with Hellenic American University (Manchester, NH, USA). It opens on November 23rd, 2015 at 20:30, at the Hellenic American Union Kennedy Gallery and will remain open until December 19th, 2015. For opening hours click here.
