Tassos Biris and Stelios Giamarelos's recently published book, Αχαρτογράφητα Ρεύματα (or, Uncharted Currents), which explores the teaching of architecture and the long-standing Modern-Postmodern debate that took place at the National Technical University of Athens School of Architecture from 1974 through 2000, will be presented at the Hellenic American Union Theater on January 15, 2015 at 8 p.m.
The book will be presented by:
- Konstantinos Dekavalas, architect and Adjunct Professor at the NTUA School of Architecture
- Manos Stefanidis, art historian and Associate Professor of Theatre Studies at the University of Athens
- Panos Tsakopoulos, architect
- Kostas Gizelis, architect
- Dimitra Vogiatzaki, architect and graduate student at the NTUA School of Architecture
The presentation is being organized by Hellenic American College in cooperation with Hellenic American Union and Melani Books.
