Second annual lecture “Alexis Dimaras” of the Greek Society of Education Historians (GSEH) featuring Belgian Professor Marc Deapepe as the guest of honor.
In his lecture entitled “More than an antidote against amnesia…Some historiographical, theoretical and methodological reflections on the History of Education”, Marc Depaepe will place emphasis on the “historicity” of the history of education. According to his opinion, a critical understanding of history is still –and will remain– indispensable in recognising the nature, identity, and intellectual foundations of all pedagogical activities.
