Τhe Hellenic American University/Hellenic American College hosted the presentation of Dr. Georgios Prevelakis’ new book “In the OECD: Geopolitical Theory and Diplomatic Action” published by Kerkyra Publications, on Monday, October 7, at 6:30 p.m.
Dr. Prevelakis, Professor Emeritus at Pantheon-Sorbonne University (Paris 1) and Distinguished Visiting Professor at Hellenic American University, served twice as Greece’s Permanent Representative to the OECD, from 2013 to 2015 and from 2019 to 2023. His book aims to shed light on the opportunities offered by this relatively underappreciated international organization and how it can be leveraged by Greece and its foreign policy and diplomatic practice.
The event featured a panel discussion with the author and the following speakers: Dimitris Avramopoulos, Louka Katseli, Tatiana Spinari-Pollali, and Angelos Syrigos.
The discussion was moderated by journalist and lawyer Antonis Papagiannidis.
