Hellenic American University held its 15th graduation ceremony on June 26, 2025, at its downtown Athens campus, marking a day of pride and celebration for graduates and their families.
Students who completed Ph.D., Master’s, and Bachelor’s programs gathered with loved ones, professors, the executive administration, the Board of Trustees, and the wider University community to commemorate this significant milestone. A festive reception followed the formal proceedings, offering everyone the chance to celebrate together.
The ceremony also acknowledged students from the Nashua, New Hampshire campus who were unable to attend in person, recognizing their achievements as part of the Class of 2025.
A highlight of the event was the Teaching Excellence Award, which was presented to Professor Arthur Antonopoulos of the Psychology Department for his outstanding contributions to academic life and student success.
Dr. Themis Kaniklidou delivered the Presidential Address, reflecting on the University's mission, the graduates’ accomplishments, and the path forward.
Valedictory addresses were delivered by Dimitris Farmakis, representing the graduate class, and Eirini Gkini, representing the undergraduate class. Their heartfelt speeches captured the spirit of the Class of 2025 and inspired fellow graduates to embrace the future with confidence and purpose.
