
The University’s annual Career Fair was successfully held at the Athens campus on May 18th, bringing together students, alumni, and leading employers for a day of professional engagement. During the event, company representatives conducted more than 140 on-site interviews with attendees, presenting job and internship opportunities while supporting career exploration, networking, and employment pathways.
The companies represented a range of industry sectors closely aligned with the academic programs of the University, including business, marketing and sales, informatics, clinical psychology, and English language teaching. The diversity of companies exposed students and graduates to multiple career pathways and employment opportunities.
Represented at the event were Adecco, Census S.A., CQS, Hellenic American Union, IASIS NGO, inTherapy, Lalizas S.A., Lexis Πληροφορική Α.Ε., Optimal Human Reinforced, Polyglosso Language Schools, Randstad Hellas, Roots Wellness Center, and TEU Shipping & Forwarding SA.
Opening the event, the University’s Interim Provost, Dr. Panayiotis Kalozoumis, warmly welcomed all participating companies, noting that their presence reflected a strong relationship built on trust and collaboration between the institution and the professional world. He further noted that the event strengthened the links between academic studies, professional development, and the job market, while also serving as an important platform for employment and internship opportunities, dialogue, and networking.
The 2026 Career Fair was organized by the Director of the Career Development Office, Ms. Domniki Diamantopoulou. She extended a cordial welcome to first-time participating companies, expressing hope for long-term partnerships with the University, and welcomed back returning companies, highlighting the strong, lasting collaborations built over time. She noted that the event continues to serve as a bridge between education and the labor market, offering students and graduates opportunities for networking, professional growth, and direct access to potential employers.
Final job placement figures are not yet available, as the recruitment process is still ongoing and includes follow-up interviews and employer assessments.
