New Scholarship Program for Graduate Students Announced1 June 2021, 3:51 pm
Hellenic American College/Hellenic American University has announced the start of a new need-based scholarship program for applicants accepted to four of its graduate degree programs: the M.S. in Informatics, M.S. in Sales Management, M.A. in Conference Interpreting, and M.A. in Translation. Under the initiative, known as the “Knowledge Creation Grants”, 40 partial scholarships will be distributed equally among candidates for the four programs. The scholarships will enable recipients to complete their entire degree program at a total tuition cost of €4,500.
The program is being funded by the Hellenic American Union (HAU), a binational NGO that has been at the forefront of educational innovation for the last 65 years as well as a long-time advocate for the University. According to CEO Vicky Branika, funding the program is part of the organization’s broader initiative to help Greek society create the knowledge assets needed for the country’s social and economic development. “We’re excited to be part of this program,” she notes. “Like the University, the HAU has always been about making professional development and lifelong learning accessible to the broadest possible audience. This has become even more important as the country works to recover from the impact of the pandemic.”
